Keith Downloading some data after a track session. Likely he was replying to threads on NastyZ28.com ! Our test car has a 8 point roll cage, race harnesses, and Corbeau seats, with full interior intact.
Re-birth of the 71 Z28 Status
Our new motor was built by Putney's Custom machine in Chico Ca. www.putneyscustommachine.com Jim Putney has 20 years experience in building high quality engines. Our new engine features a lightweight Eagle forged rotating assembly, Erson Hyd. roller cam, Jesel shaft rockers, and Airflow Research 195 heads. Motor should be good for 500hp.
The Engine is in the car, along with the carbon fiber intake. Soon we will be installing the new Holley HP EFI ECU and harness, replacing the old Commander 950 unit.
New brakes from our "big Brake" catalog have been installed, along with the new rear composite leafs.
The entire engine bay and subframe have received a complete strip and re-finish in SEM Hot Rod Black, looks clean!
Our new coil over shock conversion kit has been installed, and the front chassis cradle is finished
